Apps can be managed on all devices which have ScreenLimit installed, the procedure differs depending on the operating system, below is a guide.

Windows PCs & Laptops

  1. On Windows PC’s you can enter the title of the app or website that you would like to have specific control of by tapping the ‘Add Windows App’ tab and entering the title.
  2. In the example below we have added 2 apps, YouTube and Maths Wizz

  3. You can add as many apps as you would like to control
  4. To define the status of each app click the cog icon next to the app

  5. The default for each app listed will be timed.
  6. You can grant ‘Unlimited access’ or ‘Block’ each specific app as required by highlighting the relevant check box.

Android devices

  1. Tap the Android tab at the top of the screen
  2. A list of all the apps available on the Android devices registered to the account will be displayed

  3. The default setting for each installed app is to be timed
  4. By clicking the cog next to individual app you can specify whether the app is timed, unlimited access or blocked

Amazon Kindle devices

  1. Tap the Amazon tab at the top of the screen
  2. A list of all the apps available on the Amazon devices registered to the account will be displayed

  3. The default setting for each installed app is to be timed
  4. By clicking the cog next to individual app you can specify whether the app is timed, unlimited access or blocked.

iOS devices (iPads, iPhones & iPods)

  1. On iOS devices all installed apps are blocked when the device is blocked, unfortunately due to the nature of the iOS operating system it is not possible to control specific apps apart from them either being all blocked or all allowed.
  2. However it is possible to offer unlimited access to the following apps as opposed to being timed when a child is allocated to the iOS device.

  3. By tapping the cog icon to the right hand side of the screen for those apps you can define these as always allowed.
