1. Assign one or more children to the iOS device as described previously
2. Once you have assigned any children to the device it will immediately be blocked and most apps will disappear leaving only the native Apple apps and a few others including ScreenLimt available – see screenshots below
3. Open the ScreenLimit app – this will now open as a child app with one or more timer starters depending on how many children have been assigned to the device. These show how much time is remaining for each child.
4. The child then presses start on their designated timer which then starts the timer as shown below
5. The device is now un-blocked and the child can minimise the ScreenLimit app. All apps will have re-appeared and he can continue to use the device as normal until time runs out.
6. Parents can login to the app at any time by clicking the link and entering the account details or by entering the parental PIN – this will then change the app to being in parent mode and they can now manage the account.
