Assigning children

  1. Once you have finished entering your children’s details and installed the app on all your devices go to ‘Plans’
  2. Tap 'Add Plan'
  3. Enter the name of the plan for example 'Family Plan'

  4. Next tap the ‘Children’ drop down and assign which of your children you would like to be included in this plan – to do this tap the children to be included and they will be selected


Setting tasks for rewards

  1. Click on 'Tasks' and then 'Add Task'
  2. Set the task that you wish your child to complete, for example brush teeth.
  3. Add a description if you wish such as ‘must brush for 2 minutes’ 3.4. Next select the number of credits that you wish to award for completing that task. Credits can be exchanged for screen time by children.
  4. Then define the maximum number of uses per day that the task may be rewarded – since teeth should be brushed twice a day, we suggest this reward can be given twice in a day.
  5. You can then select the order in which these tasks are listed if you wish or leave blank.
  6. Repeat this process to add as many tasks as you wish

Setting a Schedule

  1. Tap the 'Schedule' tab within 'Plans'
  2. Tap 'Add Event'

  3. A check list will then appear for you to set up an event. You first select which days of the week the event will occur. Then set the time that the event will occur in 24 hour format. The screen shot below shows the event happening on Sunday, which is to set the timer to 60 minutes at 8pm.

  4. This will now ensure that all children that are selected for this plan will have the time of their devices reset to 60 minutes at 8pm on a Sunday. This is advised and will ensure that time that has been accumulated cannot be carried forward to the following week.


Setting a block event

By tapping ‘Add Event’ you can set a time for a block, for example when devices are blocked at night time or during school. The following example will show you how to block devices for a set period of time during school.

  1. This will now ensure that all children that are selected for this plan will have their devices blocked at 8am Monday to Friday – at the start of school.
  2. You can now set up an un-block event at 4pm for the end of school – this will ensure that the devices will now be active for the children assigned to the plan after 4pm as follows:

  3. You can set as many events as you like in each plan. Other events could be blocking at night time, setting a time of day when devices are un-timed etc.
