There are two ways that you can start your children’s session on a device as follows:
- Make sure that your children are assigned to a device. To do this go to ‘Devices’ which will show all the devices that you have downloaded ScreenLimit and entered your account details onto. Then allocate your children to the devices that they will be using. You can allocate more than one child to a device, they can then start a session when it is their turn.
- The first way to start the children’s timer is to go to the ‘Children’ tab in the dashboard on your parent device and then simply tap the gold start button next to the device that they will be using (make sure that the device is switched on when you press start).
- In the below screen shot you will see that Polly is using a Windows Desktop. You can stop their session by tapping stop.
- The second way to start a session is for children to manually start it themselves. When they pick up a device that they are allocated to, if they open the ScreenLimit app they will see a START button. Tapping this button starts their session.
- They can stop their session by opening the ScreenLimit app and tapping STOP. This will end their session. Remember, parents can always override the app by logging in or entering their parent PIN.
